It’s Thanksgiving season on TV land! This is the Thanksgiving episode of our favorite NBC scifi-drama, Heroes, appropriately titled, “Thanksgiving”.
For a fast synopsis: Noah hosts the Thanksgiving dinner with his complete family with extras. The Petrellis also had their Thanksgiving.. also with an ‘extra’ company. As for Hiro and the rest of the Carnival folks, they too had a Thanksgiving dinner.. Lydia tries to discover the truth about one of the carnival’s secrets.
This episode has a lot of revelation to oneself in it. Take Samuel for example, the episodes starts with him watching Chandra talking about a baby that has a power that is being magnified when there are other people with powers near or around him.
Another revelation is from Angela. She confirmed that Nathan’s body really is the one that Peter saw in the storage and that Nathan’s mind is occupying Sylar’s body.
Meanwhile, Noah hosted the thanksgiving dinner with a date. “You brought a date?” Oh yeah, i love the scene where Claire cuts herself and Sandra’s boyfriend fainted! I also like the scene where Sylar emerges from his body and tried killing Angela then Nathan ‘saves’ her.
Meanwhile in the carnival, Hiro brought Lydia to the past as per her request. Eight weeks in the past, Lydia and Hiro go to the field and watch Joseph and Samuel talk. Joseph admits that Samuel is dangerous because at his full potential, he can kill millions. Joseph refuses to let it happen and Samuel realizes that he’s always felt the potential inside of him. He asks Joseph to tell him wm to the ground his brother that he’s called a government to take Samuel into custody. Samuel uses his power to shoot a rock through Joseph’s throat, and then rushes forward to embrace him in regret as he dies. Lydia moves, brushing a twig, and Samuel hears her. He come running into the brush to find them, and Hiro manages to teleport them away to the present just in time.
